I started Downtown Betty in 2009 out of a contradiction I couldn't ignore. I had spent over 20 years in the fashion industry with a life built around yoga, meditation, and intentional living, and then one day it hit me: the clothes I was working out in were made entirely of plastic. I've been saying it for over 15 years. Your workout clothes are plastic. And it's time to do something about it.

Downtown Betty was founded on a simple belief. That what you wear on your body matters, that what we put into this planet matters, and that your clothing doesn't have to be toxic. It never did.

Here I share everything that lives behind the brand, the inspiration behind the designs, natural living, sauna rituals, Bali adventures, and everything in between.
